I met my life partner at the height of the pandemic when I moved to Austin immediately following the great covid lockdowns of 2020. Our first unofficial date was a meeting at the top of Mount Bonell in Austin and we spend hours just talking and taking pictures of the most beautiful Texas sunset.

We both had a love for adventure and where blessed with a fire for creative expression through use of a camera. Since the day we met, we have found ways to capture virtually every moment between us. It was only natural that we find a way to incorporate photos into our adventure elopement.

True story, when I was hanging the dress on the end of the shipping container for the detail photo of my wedding dress I got stung by a bee between my thighs. I didn’t let that stop us from getting one of a kind photos during our honeymoon. Most of these photos were taken with either available light or with a single light (godox ad200 bare bulb). We took photos of each other and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Towards the end we needed to take photos of both of us together so we put our camera on a tripod and used a sync app for my Sony camera so that I could use my cell phone for a camera trigger.

At the end of the day we have an amazing experience and got some truly one of a kind photos to commemorate one of the most special times in our marriage.
